Who you hire is very important when it comes to business management. It is common for people to hire their friends to come and work for them as a manager or as employees within an organization. It rarely works when you hire your friends to work for or with you. When your friends work for you as a manager, they may feel that the rules don’t apply to them as they do the rest of the staff. They think they can get away with a little bit more than everyone else and they might push the envelope. If you cherish your friendship, politely tell your friends that you cannot hire them because you don’t want to mix personal relationships with business.
Knowledge is vital. However, business management that is effective doesn’t require an expert in a field. It requires someone who is knowledgeable; however education and knowledge alone are not even close to being enough. Some of the things that you need in addition to knowledge that will make you successful in your management position include passion, leadership, personality, trust, integrity, and motivation. These are not skills that you can learn in school where you earned your degree or certificate, but rather come from experience and intuition. Some people are born leaders and others are not. You can learn about these skills and practice them in everything you do to try and become a good leader.
Decision making is a business management requirement that some people are very bad at. If you want to be a good manager then you need to be good at making decisions. This means that you never make a decision on the drop of a hat. Always weigh the strong and weak points of your decision, how it may affect other people or processes, and then decide. Be smart about decision making, and never be too spontaneous. If a boss knows how spontaneous you are, he or she may think you would be too dangerous to hire as a manager.
Business management requires personal skills and attributes from people in order for them to effectively make a positive impact on an organization. These things include being able to wisely make decisions, leadership, knowing who to hire, and knowledge.

They Offer You Good Loan Terms
When they give you a loan quote, they offer you a reasonable to good interest rate, they explain all of the loan terms in detail, and they offer you several different options. If a company simply offers you one loan option and tells you to take it or leave it, it’s best to leave it. Many companies will be willing to find a loan that fits your needs, budget, and preference. With all of the choices for lenders, you’re better off taking the time to find one that can give you the loan you want.

Decisions are the coin of the realm in business. Every success, every mishap, every opportunity seized or missed is the result of a decision that someone made or failed to make. At many companies, decisions routinely get stuck inside the organization like loose change. But it’s more than loose change that’s at stake, of course; it’s the performance of the entire organization. Never mind what industry you’re in, how big and well known your company may be, or how clever your strategy is. If you can’t make the right decisions quickly and effectively, and execute those decisions consistently, your business will lose ground.
Indeed, making good decisions and making them happen quickly are the hallmarks of high-performing organizations. When we surveyed executives at 350 global companies about their organizational effectiveness, only 15% said that they have an organization that helps the business outperform competitors. What sets those top performers apart is the quality, speed, and execution of their decision making. The most effective organizations score well on the major strategic decisions – which markets to enter or exit, which businesses to buy or sell, where to allocate capital and talent. But they truly shine when it comes to the critical operating decisions requiring consistency and speed – how to drive product innovation, the best way to position brands, how to manage channel partners.
Even in companies respected for their decisiveness, however, there can be ambiguity over who is accountable for which decisions. As a result, the entire decision-making process can stall, usually at one of four bottlenecks: global versus local, center versus business unit, function versus function, and inside versus outside partners.
The first of these bottlenecks, global versus local decision making, can occur in nearly every major business process and function. Decisions about brand building and product development frequently get snared here; when companies wrestle over how much authority local businesses should have to tailor products for their markets. Marketing is another classic global versus local issue – should local markets have the power to determine pricing and advertising?
The second bottleneck, center versus business unit decision making, tend to afflict parent companies and their subsidiaries. Business units are on the front line, close to the customer; the center sees the big picture, sets broad goals, and keeps the organization focused on winning. Where should the decision-making power lie? Should a major capital investment, for example, depend on the approval of the business unit that will own it, or should headquarters make the final call?
Function versus function decision making is perhaps the most common bottleneck. Every manufacturer, for instance, faces a balancing act between product development and marketing during the design of a new product. Who should decide what? Cross-functional decisions too often result in ineffective compromise solutions, which frequently need to be revisited because the right people were not involved at the outset.

• Parabens, particularly butylparaben, disrupt the functioning of normal hormones by mimicking the female hormone estrogen. Exposure to estrogen may increase a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer.
• Methyl paraben has been linked to the cause of premature skin aging. Certain skin care products and anti-aging creams can cause the skin to age early when the skin is exposed to harmful UV rays of the sun. Ironically, addition of paraben in anti-aging creams is doing more harm than good to your skin.
• Some people have reported dermatitis condition such as allergic reactions and sensitivity to parabens after using skin care products having this chemical as a preservative.
Studies supporting the fact that Parabens is harmful for the skin:
More and more beauty and health conscious women are raising their concern about the harmful effects of parabens. Several studies in recent years have suggested that parabens may pose serious risks to our health. The so-called natural skin care products and anti-aging wrinkle creams could surely be contaminated with toxic ingredients.
• A recent Danish study showed that after the topical application of paraben on the skin, this chemical can be easily measured in the blood within a few hours.
• Dr. Philippa Darbre and his colleagues at the University of reading carried out tests on 20 samples of human breast tumors. They found traces of parabens in each sample. These tests prove that parabens pass through human skin. Thus, it demonstrates that if people are exposed to parabens it will accumulate in their bodies.
• According to Dr. Darbre, the detection of parabens in human breasts tumors is of great concern because this chemical has been shown to mimic the action of estrogen, a female hormone. Since estrogen has the ability to promote the growth of human breast tumors, therefore, it becomes important to consider the integration of paraben in several personal care and skin care products.
• The above findings that link the cause of breast cancer with paraben is welcomed by Dr. Philip Harvey, European editor of the journal, and Chris Flower, director general of the UK’s Cosmetic Toiletry & Perfumery Association.
Are parabens banned?
• The FDA considers this chemical safe. According to the Food and Drug Administration, parabens exhibit much less estrogenic activity than the naturally occurring estrogen in the human body.
• Many countries have not banned this chemical. According to the health officials of these countries, low levels of this chemical is generally safe.
• Japan and Sweden have completely banned the use of anti-aging creams and other cosmetics containing parabens.
• New Zealand and Australia are taking required steps to ban this chemical from personal and skin care products including anti-aging wrinkle creams.
